Bet365 has launched the latest edition of its Tournament Challenge for the FIFA World Cup 2026, giving eligible customers the chance to test their football predictions and compete for a share of prizes worth up to £250,000.

The free-to-play promotion is based around predicting results during the World Cup, with customers earning points for correct selections. Prizes are available across four separate matchdays, while an additional overall leaderboard prize gives players another route to compete throughout the tournament.

The headline prize structure includes up to £50,000 available on each individual matchday leaderboard, along with a further £50,000 prize for the customer who finishes top of the overall standings.

How Bet365’s World Cup Tournament Challenge Works

The Tournament Challenge is separate from standard betting markets and does not require a customer to place a regular bet to take part.

To enter, eligible customers need to log in to their bet365 account and visit the Tournament Challenge section, which can be found under Football - Free Games.

From there, players make selections on World Cup fixtures. Points are then awarded based on the number of correct predictions made. The more accurate the selections, the higher a player can climb on the relevant leaderboard.

Bet365 has also added a feature called Your Leagues, which allows customers to create private leaderboards and share them with friends. This gives groups the option to run their own competition alongside the main promotional leaderboards.

What Prizes Are Available?

If multiple entrants finish level on points in a prize-paying position, the relevant prize money will be shared equally between those customers. Leaderboard positions are determined by a points-based scoring system, and shared prize pools may apply where players finish tied.

What Are Bet Credits?

Any free bet prizes from the promotion are paid as Bet Credits.

Bet Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash. However, any winnings made from bets placed using Bet Credits will be added to the customer’s withdrawable balance. The original Bet Credit stake is not returned as part of the winnings.

For example, if a £10 Bet Credit stake is placed at odds of 2/1, the customer would receive £20 in winnings if the bet wins, rather than £30, because the £10 Bet Credit stake is not returned.

Bet Credits can also be used alongside cash from a withdrawable balance. In that case, only the cash portion of the stake is returned in any winning settlement.

Bet Credits awarded through the promotion expire seven days after they are added to a customer’s balance. If further Bet Credits are added during that period, the full Bet Credits balance will expire seven days after the latest addition.
